This card has long a consumer favorite thanks to it's flexible rewards program and long list of perks and benefits. There is an annual fee of $95, but that is on the lower end compared to other travel cards, especially when you consider all the added value that is packed into this credit card

With Chase's powerful travel redemption portal, that bonus is worth $750 toward travel! For ongoing rewards, the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card earns 2X points on travel and dining at restaurants & 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases worldwide. Also, there's no foreign transaction fees which makes this card a great choice when traveling outside of the country.

What makes this card stand out if the flexibility in terms of how you can redeem your points. You can earn 25% more value when you redeem for airfare, hotels, car rentals and cruises through Chase Ultimate Rewards, but you also have the option of transferring your points directly to a number of airline frequent flyer programs and hotel loyalty accounts. A few of the transfer partners include Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Marriott, and Hyatt hotels. All in all, this card offers lucrative rewards, flexible redemptions and a long list of perks and benefits for a low annual fee.
