If you don't have much credit history or have Average, Fair, Limited credit, the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card is a great tool to help you build credit when used responsibly. Like most credit card offers for consumers who are just starting out, there is an annual fee of $39. That said, the Capital One QuicksilverOne Cash Rewards Credit Card offers something that many competing cards don't – cash back!
Cardholders will earn unlimited 1.5% Cash Back on every purchase, every day and 5% Cash Back on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel. That's quite a generous rewards rate for a card available to folks with less than excellent credit. And like the premium cash back cards from Capital One, there is no limit to how much cash back you can earn, and cash back doesn't expire for the life of the account.
In addition to the cash back rewards, this card comes with a few helpful features to get you started on the right foot for building credit when you use the card responsibly. You can monitor your credit profile for free with the CreditWise app and you'll even be automatically considered for a higher credit line in as little as 6 months.
